SPECIAL INTEREST
A common theme has run throughout my diverse professional experiences and publications: personal identity. It is here that the educational steps across the boundary into the real of mental health. Those interested in exploring some of the issues with which I have dealt may like to consult some of my other publications:

Losing Control Minerva Press1997. A fictionalised account of anorexia nervosa.
A Very Private Person Pentland Press Ltd.1998. A novel dealing with transsexualism.
Unpublished:
Proust and the Female Fantasy Brunel University 1981 a Master’s degree thesis investigating Proust’s portrayal of the female psyche.
Foreign language learning and technology in England from the 17th to 21st centuries University of Surrey 2003. Doctoral thesis positing the political manipulation of access to foreign language learning in order to sustain social differentiation.
